Becoming a mom opened my eyes to so much: from the magic of seeing a butterfly for the first time, to the sadness of realizing how many toxins and harmful ingredients there are in food, skincare, and beyond. The fierce love I have for my kids has instilled in my heart a desire to help create a better world for my children.

When my daughter developed systemic eczema after having a reaction as an infant, I looked everywhere for a natural treatment that would actually help her red, itchy skin. Frustrated by the chemically-derived products and drugs offered by conventional care providers, I researched the time-tested, traditional wisdom of yesteryear and discovered that animal-based products provide an incredible option for natural, bio-available skincare. I saw results immediately, and I've been making tallow balms and other body care products for my family ever since. I'm excited now to share nature's healing resources with the world.
